Monday 7th July

well i've done absoultely no crafting whatsoever this weekend. I had Philip out for the day yesterday and we had a lovely Roast dinner followed by rice pudding for dessert

i'm hoping to make a card or two tomorrow.

tried ringing the hospital today to sort out my surgery date and no-one was available to take the call so it looks like i'm going to have to ring on Thursday and hopefully i can still have the surgery done

Friday 4th July

well it looks like my surgery date has come through it's in 2 wks time and i'll have to go for a pre op assessment one day next week but i tried ringing to confirm that i'll be taking the date and i got no answer from the department at all, so it looks like i'm having to wait for the letter with the phone number on it so i can ring them

i'm feeling very nervous about this operation but it what i wanted just didn't think the hospital consultant would let me have it done

oh well never mind at least i'll have time to do lots of crafting and reading

Thursday 3rd July

i can't believe its the start of july all ready. i had my follow up appointment with the hospital yesterday and i'm on a waiting list to have surgery

i'm hoping it won't be too long, but who knows

work is going well.

i'm hoping to make some atc's up tomorrow and then i can put them on here also i have a lovely thinking of you card for my aunt who has just been diagnosed with cancer but she's feeling very postitve about it

Monday 30th June

well it doesn't seem like nearly 4 weeks since i last posted, i've got a follow up appointment at the hospital on wednesday

apart from that i've joined a new craft group which meet every wednesday it's a small group and very friendly

i have made 2 cards recently one is a dolphin Decoupage card and the other is an Elephant decoupage card for my step dad's birthday next month

my sister got married 2 weeks ago and it was a very lovely and simple wedding

its been a busy 2 weeks since i last posted i've had to go to the hospital for an appointment but it's nothing too serious

work's been fine.

i've just had my youngest son on the phone earlier to say he has completed the Ten Tors Expidition which takes place on Dartmoor each year and i'm so proud of him just wish i was there to see him come back in

i'm in the middle of doing another scrap lo so hopefully over the next few days i can upload i've also made a couple of father's day cards and a 60th birthday card just have one more birthday card to do for next week and that's the families birthdays all sorted for this month any way

Monday 19th May

well it's been a long time since i posted

well not a lot has happened, work's fine been doing a lot of scrapping and here's a lo i did of my daughter.

i have also just celebrated a milestone birthday last friday and i was taken away for a weekend with my mum in Portsmouth as that's where i was born all those yrs ago

i had lots of crafting goodies, a new handbag, birthday mug, toiletries bags, scented pillows for my underwear drawers, bubble bath with a teddy, a necklace and earrings

on Saturday i was taken out for a surprise meal and when i got to the pub i was greeted by my cousins and their families plus my 2 aunts were there it was a very emotional moment

January 14th

another year has begun let's hope that 2008 is better than 2007. I had my eldest son Philip out for the afternoon yesterday and it was great i taought him to do a bit of cross stitching as he wants to do something for his girlfriend which i thought was nice

work's going well

not long and i'm away again for a holiday to Scoltand this time Rodney and i are going to a village called Tyndrum which isn't that far away from Fort William so hopefully i can get different photo's of Scotland for my scrapbooking

not done any more Christmas cards yet but they will be done in the next few days or so
