Saturday 12th July

well i've been to my local crop today and i did 3 layouts of which i'll take the photo's on Monday as it's to dark to take them now. I also done a cricle journal entry.

i got given a sizzix machine plus 6 dies which i've had fun playing with today

i made a nice lemon drizzle cake which went down rather nicely, don't think i'll be making anymore for a while.

Got my date through to have my operation it's in 2wks time so i'll be off work for about 6wks, so i guess lots of reading and crafting will get done

Tuesday 8th July

haven't done a lot today apart from helping my OH's neice move some of her black bags from one place to the other.

hoping to do a bit of crafting this afternoon before OH wakes up so i guess i'd better get on with it

i'm hoping to do a few scrapbooking layouts as well at the weekend as i haven't done any for ages or it seems like it.

Monday 7th July

well i've done absoultely no crafting whatsoever this weekend. I had Philip out for the day yesterday and we had a lovely Roast dinner followed by rice pudding for dessert

i'm hoping to make a card or two tomorrow.

tried ringing the hospital today to sort out my surgery date and no-one was available to take the call so it looks like i'm going to have to ring on Thursday and hopefully i can still have the surgery done

Friday 4th July

well it looks like my surgery date has come through it's in 2 wks time and i'll have to go for a pre op assessment one day next week but i tried ringing to confirm that i'll be taking the date and i got no answer from the department at all, so it looks like i'm having to wait for the letter with the phone number on it so i can ring them

i'm feeling very nervous about this operation but it what i wanted just didn't think the hospital consultant would let me have it done

oh well never mind at least i'll have time to do lots of crafting and reading

Thursday 3rd July

i can't believe its the start of july all ready. i had my follow up appointment with the hospital yesterday and i'm on a waiting list to have surgery

i'm hoping it won't be too long, but who knows

work is going well.

i'm hoping to make some atc's up tomorrow and then i can put them on here also i have a lovely thinking of you card for my aunt who has just been diagnosed with cancer but she's feeling very postitve about it

Monday 30th June

well it doesn't seem like nearly 4 weeks since i last posted, i've got a follow up appointment at the hospital on wednesday

apart from that i've joined a new craft group which meet every wednesday it's a small group and very friendly

i have made 2 cards recently one is a dolphin Decoupage card and the other is an Elephant decoupage card for my step dad's birthday next month

my sister got married 2 weeks ago and it was a very lovely and simple wedding

its been a busy 2 weeks since i last posted i've had to go to the hospital for an appointment but it's nothing too serious

work's been fine.

i've just had my youngest son on the phone earlier to say he has completed the Ten Tors Expidition which takes place on Dartmoor each year and i'm so proud of him just wish i was there to see him come back in

i'm in the middle of doing another scrap lo so hopefully over the next few days i can upload i've also made a couple of father's day cards and a 60th birthday card just have one more birthday card to do for next week and that's the families birthdays all sorted for this month any way
